A General Model for Pointing Error of High Frequency Directional Antennas

This paper focuses on providing an analytical framework for the quantification and evaluation of pointing error a general case at high-frequency millimeter wave (mmWave) terahertz (THz) communication links. For this aim, we first derive probability density function (PDF) cumulative distribution functions (CDF) between unstable transmitter (Tx) receiver (Rx), that have different antenna patterns which vibrations are not similar in Yaw Pitch directions. The special where Tx Rx both equipped with uniform linear array is also investigated. In addition, using α-μ distribution, valid model small-scale fading mmWave/THz links, end-to-end PDF CDF considered channel derived all cases. Finally, by employing Monte-Carlo simulations, accuracy expressions verified performance system studied.
